After the launch of HTC One and Samsung’s Galaxy S4,the tech world is spreading rumors regarding another two big launches this year-Apple’s iPhone 5S and Motorola’s mysterious device ‘X’. The expectations for Motorola X are very high as it will be the first pure Google phone. There are some rumors about the hardware of the device.Lets have a look on rumored hardware specs-
- 4.8 inched display
- Sapphire glass protection
- 2 GHz quadcore processor
- 4000 mAh battery
- Android 5.0(Key Lime Pie)
We don’t know about the resolution but it is going to be full HD as it will have to compete with HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4.Sapphire glass protection is three times better than the popular Gorilla glass display. The rumored quad-core QualComm Snapdragon800 is not launched yet but we will likely see it by the end of October. The battery is massive and should be able to last 2 days.
Another rumor indicating Motorola X will be the first fully customizable smart-phone.Guy Kawasaki, who joined Motorola recently shared a video on Google+ about the customizable Porsche cars and at the end of the video he asks “Wouldn’t it be great if you could personalize your phone like this?”
This leaves enough for the people to speculate whether the era of customizable smartphones is coming. It will be wonderful to let people select their own color,RAM,memory and much more.Though Guy is saying that “I’m just asking a hypothetical question…,” and, “I’m just a Porsche fan who works at Motorola…” He doesn’t deny the rumor, and goes on to tell one commenter, “Let me see what I can do for you,” in response to wanting a fully customized, one of a kind device.
Since it’s Google,Motorola X is sure to create a lot of buzz in tech world in upcoming days. One thing is certain that Motorola X will run on Android 5.0,Key Lime Pie.KLP will definitely have advanced features and it might make Samsung’s Galaxy S4 and HTC One outdated at least for the time they don’t get KLP update. If Motorola X will be a fully customizable phone then what specification would you want?
